Privacy Policy

In plain words

ScatterSync is built to help your brain feel calmer — not to spy on you. We only collect what we need to make the app work for you. We don't sell your data. We don't share your private notes with anyone.

What we collect

• Your email and password — used only to sign you in.
• Your name and avatar — so we can greet you properly.
• Your activity in the app — Brain Dumps, focus sessions, Time Anchor events, Morning Pulse answers, Overwhelm taps, points and streaks.
• Basic anonymous usage events — so we know which features people actually use.

Where it's stored

Your account and data live in a secure cloud database powered by Supabase (used by ScatterSync as our backend). It's protected by industry-standard authentication and row-level security, meaning only you can read your own data.

Voice notes

When you record a Brain Dump by voice, the audio is sent securely to a transcription service to turn it into text, then discarded. Only the text is saved to your account.

Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we store the device token needed to send you reminders. You can turn this off any time from the You screen or your device settings.

Your control

• You can export, edit, or delete your notes any time inside the app.
• You can permanently delete your account and all linked data from the You screen.
• Email us at support@scattersync.app for anything privacy-related.
